Company Brain is a trading name of Kai Swarts, a sole proprietor established in South Africa. This policy explains what happens to personal information when you visit this website.
What this covers
This policy covers this website only. It does not cover a Company Brain production deployment. A production environment is installed into infrastructure the customer provides and controls; the customer is responsible for the content processed there under the signed agreement.

What we collect
Information you choose to send
This website has no contact form, account or login. If you contact us by email or through LinkedIn, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, employer, contact details and enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data, including IP address, request time, requested page, browser user-agent and referring page, as necessary to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics — only if you allow it
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It does not load unless you press “Allow analytics”. If you decline or ignore the prompt, no analytics script is loaded. Google Analytics does not store your IP address; it uses it transiently to estimate an approximate location and then discards it. We do not use analytics for advertising, remarketing or profiling.
Cookies and local storage
We use no advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Your analytics choice is stored in your browser's local storage as company-brain-analytics-preference, so we do not ask again. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We use website hosting and logging services, and Google Analytics only where you consent. Our providers operate globally, so processing may involve transfers outside South Africa and the EEA. We use provider transfer mechanisms and, where applicable, safeguards intended to meet the relevant legal requirements.
Retention
Hosting logs are retained for the operational period applied by the host. Analytics data is retained according to the setting in Google Analytics. Business correspondence is kept while the relationship is active and afterwards only as needed for record-keeping or legal reasons. Your analytics choice remains in your browser until you clear site data.
Your rights and complaints
You may request access to, correction or deletion of personal information; object to processing; and, where GDPR applies, request restriction or portability and withdraw consent. This is a business website and is not directed to children. We will update this page when our processing changes and revise the date above.
